Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo, an American author and actress. She began her career on the daytime soap operas One Life to Live and Guiding Light and in later years had several support roles on primetime TV. Andrea Navedo was born 10 October 1977, at The Bronx New York United States. Navedo began her professional acting career with daytime soap operas. Between 1995 and 1997, she appeared as Linda Soto on the ABC soap show One Life to Live. The actress was a part of in the CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996 she made her debut in film with a minor performance in Girl 6. She then was seen on New York Undercover episodes and The District. Navedo played in Double Take, an action-comedy film in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the one year following. Navedo played the role of Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC program Law & Order from 2001 until 2004. He starred later in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods and Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo was also in a variety of films such as El Cantante and Remember Me. From 2011 to 2013, Navedo played recurring roles in How to Make It in America Golden Boy and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In 2013, she starred in the comedic film Superfast! The Fast and the Furious parody released in 2015 was a satire of the Fast and Fast and the Furious film series. Navedo's professional life began in daytime soaps. She played Linda Soto, the ABC soap drama One Life to Live from 1995 through 1997. In 1999, she became Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. Her film debut was a part in Girl 6 (1996). Then she appeared as a guest on seasons of New York Undercover, The District and The District. Navedo appeared as a character in Double Take (2001), an action comedy.
